How to be a Computer Scientist
Crucial steps:
- eat ethnic food -- this is an absolute requirement. It's a bit tough in
Madison, SD but there is a Chinese place (China Moon -- great hot and sour
soup) and a mexican place (El Vaquero), so be sure to eat there. If you
make it to Sioux Falls, there's a good Indian place on the north side
(across the street to the north from the arena/ballpark/convention center
complex) the sushi place on Philips avenue (about 13th) is good. (Anyone know of other ethnic places in the area?)
Whenever you are traveling, be *sure* to eat at ethnic places you can't get
to here: Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Greek, .... Pizza Hut and Taco Bell
don't count. Italian and French don't count (unless they are seriously
ethnic). Pizzas are ok when nothing else is available.
- See How to Be
a Hacker -- the hackers aren't exactly the same as computer scientists,
but the best of each group are both
- You must understand
recursion
- 1,3,7-trimethylxanthine
(aka C8H10N4O2) is the
most essential food group

More to come, eventually.
