Congressman Tim Ryan (Ohio,) has agreed to request funding for NYSP in the FY11 Labor, HHS, Education budget in the amount of $8 million!   This amount will provide funding for up to 100 NYSP projects for the summer of 2011.  While this is great news, we are still a long way from the finish line.

    Thanks!! to Marcia Matanin at Youngstown State who was able to coordinate letters to Congressman Ryan from the university president and the mayor of the City of Youngstown.  Marcia also spoke directly with the Congressman about the benefits of NYSP both locally and nationally.
