Shengjie Xu (IEEE Membership: S’14–M’19) received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering (supervised by Prof. Yi Qian) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2019, and an M.S. degree in Telecommunications (supervised by Prof. David Tipper) from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014. Before that, he held a B.E. degree in Information Assurance in 2012. He has a strong expertise in cyber security, certified by the National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CNSS 4011-4015).
Presently, Dr. Xu is an assistant professor of The Beacom College of Computer and Cyber Sciences at Dakota State University. He serves as a Technical Editor of IEEE Wireless Communications and an Editor of International Journal of Sensor Networks. His research interests include AI-driven cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, and intelligent networking system. He is a member of IEEE, ACM, and AAAI. He is also involved in IEEE Technical Committees, including CISTC, TCGCC, and TCBD.
