    Participation in a pre-school, day-care, or nursery school situation with emphasis on working with students on a one-to-one, small group or large group basis.

  1. Objectives:
    1. Observe and teach in a pre-school &/or Kindergarten setting.
    2. Assist the classroom teacher with student activities
    3. Develop materials appropriate for classroom use.
    4. Demonstrate a development test on two students.

    M.    This class will use discussion, observation, and hands-on teaching.

      N.    Course outline:

    Students will arrange individual meetings with instructor once a month.

Clinical experience 70%
Written journal 30%
