Wednesday's Assignment

For Wednesday, you'll be doing some Prewriting for your narrative essay.  You'll send me the results in an email  

1. Read the information about the Narrative Essay.
2. Read about the Prewriting Strategies.  
3. Look at the Example.  
4. Then do your own.  First, make a list of twenty or so different stories that you could tell.  Don't worry about whether they're all good ones.  Write them down.  
5. Choose the one you think is best--that you can imagine making most effectively into an essay that will move your readers and fulfill the assignment.
6. Do either a listing or a clustering and a freewriting.  See the Prewriting Strategies.  
7. Send the whole thing to me in an email.  Tell me what you plan to do.
