Computer Ownership and Internet Access Survey

Welcome and thank you for completing the following survey instrument.  Higher education consultant Alvin P. Sanoff stated that “computer ownership and access to the Internet have become part of the daily fabric of life”.  The intent of this survey is to collect data relating to these two important concepts.  Approximately ten (10) years ago, the “digital divide” phrase became part of our vocabulary.  The phrase is meant to describe those of us who do not have a computer or Internet access in our homes, and are therefore perhaps at a disadvantage when compared with the portion of the population that does have access to computers and the Internet in their respective home environments.

The data I am collecting will be used in the research that I am completing for my doctorate degree from Capella University.  All data are being collected anonymously, and will be kept securely in a database that is accessible only by me.

Once again, thank you for taking part in this very important research project.
