Getting Started
 | Form a group that consists of 6 to 12 people. It is
not necessary for all of the individuals participating to seek the renewal credit.

| The group can read the same book or books that relate to a
thematic unit. For example individuals could read books written by different
African-American authors or everyone can reads a different book by a particular author or
select books from a certain historical period.
|
| After reading, the group meets to discuss and explore the
dimensions of the literature. The group must meet to fulfill the 15 contact hours
for the renewal.

| At each meeting, the group needs to document the date and
what the participants read for the reading workshop. |
