Ideas and Suggestions
Discussion:
IRA has resources to help with discussions.
 | Goldenberg, C. (1992-93). Instructional conversations: Promoting
comprehension through discussion. The Reading Teacher, 46, 316-326.
 | Berger, L. R. (1996). Reader response journals: You make the
meaning... and how, Journal of Adolescent & Adult Literacy, 39 (5), pp.
380-385.
 | In this article, Berger has readers write as well as discuss.
Questions that stimulate thinking are:
 | What do you notice?
 | What do you question?
 | What do you feel?
 | What do you relate to?
